Abstract: In order to protect the scarce coking coal resources in China, based In order to protect the scarce coking coal resources in China, based on China's coking coal resources reserve, development and utilization status and analysis of coking coal supply and demand relationship, we pointed out the problems in the development of China's coking coal industry, such as the shortage of resources reserves, the excessive exploitation of high-quality coking coal resources, the structural contradiction of output, the contradiction between large-scale blast furnace and shortage of resources; finally, put forward relevant development countermeasures and suggestions including increasing exploration efforts, further advances in structural reforms in the supply side, protective development and utilization, active exploitation and utilization of foreign resources.
